Our Story
Ram Engineering was founded in Chennai in 1993 with a single conviction: that industrial oil contamination was a solvable problem that most plants were ignoring. At the time, the standard practice was to discard contaminated oil and replace it â a costly, wasteful approach that also left machinery operating in degraded condition between changes.
Our founder, Karthick D, recognised that on-site filtration and purification could restore oil to serviceable condition at a fraction of the replacement cost â while simultaneously extending equipment life and reducing unplanned downtime. He built Ram Engineering around this principle.
Over the next three decades, we expanded from oil filtration into the full spectrum of industrial fluid management: pipeline flushing, tank cleaning, oil analysis, vibration analysis, thermography, and plate heat exchanger servicing. Today we are a multi-disciplinary industrial maintenance company, trusted by over 200 plants across South India.
